+[[https://www.safespacemerseyside.co.uk|Safe Space Merseyside]] is a Trans+ led organisation, which aims to support transgender and non-binary people across the Merseyside area by running social events, facilitating mutual-aid, and providing a directory of businesses and organisations who have pledged that they are a safe space for Trans+ people.
+They list businesses and organisations from right across the Merseyside region, including Liverpool, Knowsley, Sefton, St Helens, and Wirral. They also list businesses in Halton and Chester due to their close proximity.

+Safe Space Merseyside host social gatherings at [[https://doesliverpool.com|DoES Liverpool]], which has pledged to be a safe space for trans+ people.  The socials take place in a private room, and free tea and coffee is provided with no obligation to spend money.  DoES is wheelchair accessible and has an accessible, gender-neutral toilet.
+There is an inclusive social for anyone who identifies under the trans+ (including non-binary) umbrella, which runs 18:30-21:00 on the third Tuesday of the month.
+There is also a social dedicated to non-binary people, which runs 19:00-21:00 on the fourth Wednesday of each month.  This event was started following feedback from the community that there are masc and femme specific socials in the area but a lack of socials for people who do not fall on the gender binary.
